Curl Enhancing Smoothie by Shea Moisture Review

I’ve been using this product for about a week and love it. I made a review to show you the results and tips on applying it.

I bought this product at Rite Aid, it was $12.  I think it is a good price for the quality and quantity of the product.

The first step to taking proper care of your skin is knowing your skin type. Many people choose the wrong products for their skin because they don’t know the difference between their skin type and their current skin condition. Your skin type is genetically predetermined and is the same from the day you’re born until the day you die.

Bliss With Beauty

The power of Coconut Oil is something that isn’t hyped enough! The amount of useful things you can do with this beauty is enough to keep anyone happy…

I thought it might be helpful to compile a list of a few of the benefits of this natural oil that I have been loving for a while and the different ways you can use it:

Benefits for your hair:

If your hair is feeling a little glum and needs a bit of extra love and care, take a small amount of coconut oil and apply, concentrating mainly on the ends, making sure not to put too much on, as this can become very greasy and hard to remove when washing! These are some great tips! I will definitely be trying a few!

Morning Mooooo Monday!

This weekend I decided to be extra vain and indulged myself in the world of beauty remedies made in the comfort of my own kitchen. Being a product junkie, I’ve learned that more $$$ doesn’t always mean better results, so without further ado, I’d like to share with you guys some of my own frugal tips!

bakingsodaBaking Soda as a Clarifying Shampoo

Everybody knows that a good clarifying shampoo is a must. If your hair looks flat, limp, greasy, or just unimpressive in general, it might do a bit of good to wash your hair with baking soda. It essentially gets rid of all the gunk that accumulates on the hair shaft from the products we use.

Mix: 1 TBSP baking soda with 1 cup of warm water.
Directions: Slowly pour rinse over hair and massage in. Leave in for 5 minutes. Wash out, and condition.

Lip Exfoliation

So I completed a home remedy Lip exfoliation technique and I have mixed reviews.

Firstly, the process only took about 30 seconds which is great. But the aftermath, was some what harmful to my nervous system.

I used an automatic toothbrush for rubbing the sugar and olive oil on my lip with mini second breaks in between. There was a numbing sensation upon completion which left me feeling some discomfort and a tingling sensation for a while. Not too sure if my lips benefited from the process, will see.

I advise, if you decide to exfoliate with a home remedy or any kind of process, be delicate with your lips. After all they are a tissue therefore delicate handing should be advised.
